Malaysia: Batu Caves

All
an end, this story is the latest stories from Around the World!

After that I'll show you some of the treasures of our new region of Ain ...

was therefore in the last days in Malaysia, we decided to go to Batu Caves Hindu shrine dedicated to the deity "scandalous".

When we arrive, one is greeted by a huge giant golden side of which is a long staircase .. Very long, 272 (very) long walks under the scorching sun ...

It undertakes the steps, the brave heart and you're greeted by charming pickpockets ...

They look so cute ...

These monkeys are terrors, they opened the bags of tourists, their pockets are, eat any fruit you have on you (do not make the mistake of taking food) and are even able to eat the son Power your flashlight! We saw a stick a Coke bottle to a young Japanese tourist and open with the teeth to drink the contents!

Actually they have diverted our attention so that for once we forget the cultural side of the ride .. It must be said that children were as excited as monkeys, we did not know where to head.

At one point, Titi was too close and was hooked! Fortunately
on the trouser seam and it did not cross, it was just a bruise, but what scared ... Well, it's no big deal, he retains a good memory and would even a picture of her attacker to display in his room.

... I finished the story here of the Tour du Monde. The next day we took the plane to Singapore and the day was the long flight back to France ...

But now when we talk about it to say that we will leave ...
And when children ask us, specifying the countries they would discover, it is with those pleading eyes, you know, like the cat in Shrek ... Those

there! ...

In the Jungle of New

The jungle is thick!
Yes, (luckily we're here to give these revelations is not that) good, therefore, shows nothing there and see any animal is an achievement.
So imagine my head when, in a small walk through the thick forest, my little darling MaƩ me points to a tree trunk to 5-6 m from us, wrapped in vines and dense vegetation and I said, there is a snake there!
Heuuuuu
Quit the guide, we're all watching intently ...
sees nothing.
The guide approaches the area (we will go back eh) and then said:
"Ohhhhh, ouiiii, but it is awfully strong this little thing!"
Yeah, I'm proud of my Explorer, it's on.
There was a huge snake on the trunk, surrounded by creepers ... How she could find, I still wonder ... (I put the photo magnified for those who have not found).
The photo is the Chum who went to take it under my encouragement and chilly after the guide assured us that he could come .... Vui Vui.

So it was in the jungle in Malaysia in the park of Taman Negara.
To go there, we took a bus for 3 hours from Kuala Lumpur and then 3 hours boat in extraordinary scenery.

Finally, at the end of the world, when the endless plantations of palm oil finally stops, the jungle primary, almost impenetrable, abundant life, and so threatened ...

We were almost alone in our little camp, so we were able to discover the thick jungle beyond artifacts camps for mass tourism, a great opportunity for us.

Obviously, we saw many beautiful vegetation, pretty amazing insects, but very few other animals.
snakes, scorpions (on a stroll at night, it was daring), these kinds of multi-colored squirrels and wild boars pig. It has also taken
monsoon while we were locked in a canoe, without the possibility of putting us away. It's like taking a shower outdoors, the same.
We also made a discovery of the canopy on suspension bridges, 20 m above ground. All

stay was really gorgeous, it was moist heat, rain made us soaked in sweat at the slightest movement but children have managed to do a 5 km walk truly in the thick jungle, with their father and guide, it rose from 300 m in elevation and I I could not follow.

Fortunately it was the end of the trip, just when I began to realize that my health limits imposed on me but before I had time to grieve me.

We loved Malaysia and Malaysians welcomed us with such kindness that I recommend you this country will discover the forest is an experience that gives meaning to life. Helping those who are fighting to preserve it to continue to protect it ...

Tylonal Pm Ingrediants

I have not finished my story!
That will come, and slide shows by countries visited and the stories of discovery of our new region.

I especially wanted to tell you that we have read and accompanied on this wonderful journey, THANK YOU. It was nice of you "talk" interesting for us to try to discover the other at the same time that we move

:-) This blog had a tone of some family too, return travel I found my "home" original and my freedom of speech in my old (since 2006 anyway) Personal blog, " elleestfollecellela " at http://elleestfollecellela.blogspot.com/ .

You're very welcome of course, you can move and even subscribe to them freely, however, there reigns a tone more "adult" and a woman's freedom of speech, this is not the same approach even though This is indeed the same writer.
you soon, here or there ...

Malaysia Singapore and Malaysia: Titi dreamed of elephants ... New Life

Well, with all that ...
Now, where was I already have this story?
Oh yes, Singapore's multi-cultural city and hyper-modern. An airport incredible, beautiful, it offers the same (free) to make the trampoline while waiting for your flight!
But a must for children was the exhibition of origami airplanes, they demanded that I take all types of jobs picture!
We stayed with our friends, it was very very nice, the children were so happy to play. strangely enough, they found the "same game" as the home, sometimes really identical, like what, globalization is not a joke eh.

After Singapore, we finished this wonderful journey with a visit to Malaysia ...

We had something special to do it ... realize the dream of our son to pet and ride on the back of an elephant!
We went to the elephant conservation center, where they collect animals injured or lost.
It was an unforgettable experience, we have fed and petted the animals beautiful and of course everyone has a right to a stroll on the back of an elephant!

Titi was thrilled, of course, but it was not the only one we were all fascinated. Note the fun Tweety, he never imagined that the elephant was too hairy! Between us ... Me either.

Well, I leave for one or two posts, I'll tell you again how was the jungle in Malaysia and a visit to a temple filled epic monkey scroungers.

We really like Malaysia, it's fun because this choice was made by chance, we do not know anything about this country. We were impressed by the tolerance of Muslim-majority populations where, during Ramadan, miniskirts crossed the saris and burkas, without any remark or glance sideways ...
