Bugatti Veyron Diagramm

Australia. Wet Forest

We entered the rain forest and sailed into the mangrove ...

In the mangrove, in addition to many beautiful birds, we were looking reptiles.

Girls you explain that right now, as it was a rainy day and a little fresh, was the place to find reptiles ("because they do not have a radiator in the body like us," says Sam and Mae adds: "So they have to warm in the sun and keep their forces so they do bougnent not! ").
I confirm, they do not move, but then not at all, the dream of every photographer!

We caught 3 snakes and crocodiles and 2 ...

I leave you some photos where they are in the vegetation, you find ;-)

After that, a short walk through dense forest. We admired the strangler fig (the girls are really expert in botany now MaƩ explained how the fig tree grows with the tree but eventually block her access to light and the tree is rotting in the middle is left the fig tree ... then Sam has pointed out the 3 levels of vegetation and the fact that it's very dark in there ... Aaaaahhhh I am proud of my little explorers.

We saw blue fruit which are eaten by cassowaries.
We were very excited, all hoping to see one, even if we know that this species is highly endangered as it remains approximately 500 individuals at liberty in the world ...

And I was very interested in this hull, and those big brown brown seeds that gave AZT, the first treatment against HIV!

But the strongest, incredibly lucky, it was on the way home. On the edge of the runway, then to 3 meters away in the vegetation, 2 chicks Cassowaries with their Dad! (In Cassowaries, the male incubates and takes care small by itself). So good, the pictures are bad but I'll put them anyway you can imagine, the cassowary in FREEDOM!

We had an absolute compliment to children, they said

"Ahhhhhh, it's even better than" the Barbapapa around the world! " (That is their absolute reference).

Best Bridge Designs Balsa W

Australia. Great Barrier Reef.

That is the big moment arrived. We are facing the Great Barrier Reef, the largest in the world, 2600 km long, 350 000 km2 of coral and teeming life extraordinary. (France is 547,000 km2).
Did you know that it is world heritage of UNESCO? The Chum

could make a first dive, not me (I explain on elleestfolle).

But hey, it was beautiful.

It was worth it to see children have fun among the fish, even Tweety was right there.

chips, it was the birthday of their grandparents, what a gift!

And my chips, which are already good swimmers! They did not stop, real small dolphins. It was a great moment of happiness to swim with them show them the corals, take a picture in the middle of the fish.

The weather was gloomy and it's not easy to take pictures in apnea with a small device without the big flash professionals. at least I did not bother with the fish that's for sure. But I'm pretty happy with my photographic exploits despite that ;-)

Go look at the photos and then just hold your breath and swim underwater snorkeling with me on two short films below post ;-)

Amethyst Geode For Sale Toronot

Australia: Kangaroos, Koalas, Wombats and other wonders.

Well if we are in Australia!
Evidence in pictures! :-)

We are in Brisbane and while Chum is in its conference, the kids and I went to spend a day at the Conservation Centre koalas.
It was a nice reward after a very dense school week ...

We have seen, of course lots of koalas, they would occupy in the center and make them reproduce.
Essentially they slept all the time, ate a bit of eucalyptus, move very slowly and ... ben the general opinion, they feel a little bad. This arboreal marsupial

(living in trees) is very threatened because humans have destroyed their habitat, the eucalyptus forests, to the patio tables and other ...

They also introduced predators (cats, dogs) and made roads. It is now protected, meaning they do more hunting for its fur and it has put on reserve, but as we continue to destroy habitat where this charming hairball not improve obviously ...

Other marsupial found in the conservation center and whose situation is dramatic, the Tasmanian devil. But there is a disease that decimates.

The wombat, yet another marsupial, a sort of guinea pig the size of a bear is not threatening to my knowledge. It is really big and he too has a certain smell of rodent ...

But the most fascinating animal in Australia, for me is Platypus (I shot one, look below) is a mammal that lays eggs, it has a beak that looks like a duck and a tail like the beaver, legs and a appearance of hair as the otter. It is poisonous. Good news is no longer endangered, like what sometimes happens to human redemption.

There was also a huge enclosure where they could enter, with red kangaroos and wallabies tame, who willingly allowed themselves to be stroked, I never thought that these animals were as sweet. These animals there are not threatened, it eats itself.

In the enclosure there were huge ostriches, some have dared to touch them, they looked very sweet, but I could not bring myself to leave children approach them too closely.

They are also trying to preserve the lizards, birds (eagles, owls), etc..
The lizard I photographed walking freely in the park, he did well 1m50.

They presented us with a snake of the family of pythons, black head, which found to Darwin.

Parrots, there everywhere since we arrived, even in the city they make a deafening noise at times. We have also seen in town at night and the park, sleeping, big bats.

Overall a great day with the animals of Australia and yet the message we have heard around the world, man destroys animal habitats and species are disappearing ... Believe that we still do, that this is not about the past, more than ever we exert unbearable pressure on our environment. There are few animals that did survive emblematic great publicity stunts and fund raising, but the vast majority invisible in the oceans, in dense forests, disappears without epitaph.

Stores Which Offer Layway

Australia: Melbourne and Brisbane. Feeding wild dolphins.

We here in Australia last week.
We mainly worked in Melbourne, the only exit, a trip around the huge market.
We then hosted a weekend on the island of Tangalooma.

is a reservation with a hotel, like big luxury hotel facility. They offer as an activity every night to 18 hours of hand feeding wild dolphins ... Pelicans and also I do not know what other wild bird.

Frankly, it made me curious. For dolphins, there were 200 Pignouf at least waiting on the beach, laughing, when to go and give their fish to the Dauphin, animators ready to take the picture sold for gold, and I think that we were only to hate it, Chum being uncomfortable.

It's disturbing to have an opinion on this minority ...
So, it's hard to know if it was wrong or not.
Ah yes, of course, the GO did not forget to make a pseudo green screed and answer my questions embarrassing that it did not matter since they did not give them more than 30% of their daily ration (another day they say 10%, in fact I think that it depends on the number of tourists to meet) and that therefore they must still go fishing by themselves ...

The usefulness of these wild animals to accustom be approached and fed by humans?

Vui, Vouyer, they return a large portion of revenues generated to some scientists ...

But I do not understand. You like dolphins?
Stop swinging pesticides, hormones and other crap into the environment.
Stop emptying the ocean of fish they eat. Eating fish in danger of extinction, giving pies to cats or dogs to fish.
Stop starving sharks for their fins tear.
Stop domesticate wildlife.
There were tons of Japanese on the beach, you think they will stop the sushi at Bluefin, and sometimes contain the dolphin?

I know, most people will not understand, it's so nice to approach a dolphin ...
I have a concept of wilderness that is obviously incompatible with mass tourism and pumps money is incompatible with the luxury and the pollution it generates, I never had to go to this place. In our defense, we thought it was a nature reserve ...

roof of the roof, it has not failed the second night the kids wanted to go fish to dolphins ...

Grosse discussion with the Chum ...
Prohibit? Explain our position? Leave the choice?
We have much much much hesitation.

Girls also were very hesitant indeed. We explained what we thought and they've left the final choice in order to avoid risking the rush in the opposite direction of what we are trying to teach them in a position too limited for us.

A chip has chosen not to do so and the other to do so. Like her sister would do the first changed his mind and also wanted ...

We let it happen, Chum accompanied the 3 children to bring the Titi, not give him fish.

Bad environmentalists and bad parents! ...

children have not been "frustrated" and I hope that this snake swallow bear fruit and help them think for themselves and make themselves the conflict between love and Wildlife to please yourself ...

I conclude by saying that yes, it was beautiful, yes, we still have images of postcards, we have never seen so much of particular starfish our lives (failed sue the beach ... I do not know why), and then we saw and heard the famous Kookabura, but we keep all, finally, a feeling of discomfort.
